Terms of Service

By using Hummo (the "Service"), you are deemed to agree to these Terms.

1. Nature of the Service (demo / beta)

The Service is currently a Chrome browser extension in a demo/beta stage. Its features, availability, and policies may change or be discontinued without prior notice, and we provide no guarantee that any data will be preserved.

2. Music playback and copyright

The Service does not stream or redistribute audio. All music plays locally on your own device through your own YouTube Music account, and the Service only syncs playback state (the track identifier, playback position, whether it is playing, and a timestamp).

• You warrant that your use of YouTube Music complies with the terms of Google and YouTube.
• Adding a track to the shared queue merely passes along an identifier so that each user plays the same track on their own device; it does not transmit, copy, or distribute any audio file.
• The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or the rights holders of its content.

3. Accounts and rules of use

• You are responsible for your account information (email and password) and for the rooms and chats you create.
• Posting illegal, hateful, or harassing content, impersonating others, and unauthorized intrusion or abusive automation of the Service are prohibited.
• In the event of a violation, we may restrict access to your account or rooms without prior notice.

4. Fees and subscription

• Payment is processed through Stripe, via lavela. 100% of revenue goes to the host, and no separate platform fee is charged.
• You can cancel the subscription at any time. On cancellation, Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which automatic renewal stops.
• Except where required by applicable law, refunds for subscription periods already elapsed are, as a rule, not provided.
• Prices and plans may change after prior notice.

5. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "AS IS". The Service does not warrant the accuracy of synchronization, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. You are responsible for your YouTube Music account, playback, and use of content.

6. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change. When they do, the last-updated date on this page will be revised. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

7. Governing law

These Terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Where mandatory consumer-protection rules apply, those rules take precedence.
